Strongsville Community Dog Park
The Strongsville Community Dog Park was initiated by the Strongsville Women’s League in 2025 and presented to the Mayor of Strongsville. The Mayor approved the project and formally announced it at the April 2025 Strongsville Chamber of Commerce meeting. The Strongsville Women’s League is proud to lead the fundraising efforts to help make this exciting community project a reality.
Located on Lunn Road adjacent to Volunteer Park, the Strongsville Community Dog Park will encompass approximately four acres of fully enclosed space designed to provide dogs and their owners with a safe, welcoming place to play, exercise, and connect.
The park will feature:
- Separate, secure play areas for small and large dogs
- Agility equipment for active play and exercise
- Off-leash wooded walking trails
- Dog-friendly water fountains
- Shade structures
- Public benches and picnic tables
- Pet waste stations
The Strongsville Women’s League is excited to bring this much-needed facility to our community. The Strongsville Community Dog Park will provide residents and their four-legged companions with a place to exercise, socialize, build friendships, and enjoy the outdoors together, all within a safe and thoughtfully designed environment.
Together, we are creating a place where Strongsville’s residents and their dogs can connect, play, and enjoy our community for years to come.
Site Plan
The park will encompass about 4.4 acres and be fully enclosed with a 6-foot chain link fence and double-gated entryways. There will be separate play areas for large and small dogs, as well as a wooded nature trail for off-leash walks.
