Strongsville Women’s League is a vital group of diverse women dedicated to volunteer services, leadership, fundraising and friendship. Our mission is to undertake projects and provide funding for services that enrich our community and enhance the quality of life for residents of all ages.
Our General Meetings are held at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:45 p.m.) on the first Wednesday of the month September through June. June and December meetings are banquets at local restaurants. Locations and speakers for each meeting can be found on our Calendar and on our Facebook page!
Strongsville Women’s League is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). GFWC is the oldest and largest nondenominational, nonpartisan, international service organization of volunteer women in the world.
Current Projects One of our newest and most exciting projects is the development of the Strongsville Community Dog Park. Working closely with the Mayor and city leaders, SWL helped bring this vision to life — creating a safe, welcoming space

Strongsville Community Dog Park An exciting addition is coming our way this fall in Strongsville! The city, in conjunction with the efforts of Strongsville Women’s League, has begun the development of our new “off leash” dog park and nature trails.

Our Membership and Social Committee has been trying to get us out on the mini golf course for a while, but the rain kept washing out our plans. 🌧️
The weather finally cooperated, giving us the perfect evening for a little friendly competition and some delicious ice cream! A huge thank you to our Social Committee for planning such a fantastic event!

It was incredible to see so many returning members, new members, and guests fill the room. We were especially honored to host Barb Savarin, President of GFWC Ohio, and Maddie Crish, Director of GFWC Ohio Junior Clubs, who gave us a fantastic look into GFWC and we heard all the exciting things in store for our upcoming year from all of our committees.
If our first meeting was any indication, this season is going to be unforgettable! 🙌

Our Arts and Culture committee arranged an amazing outing for us, and it was so incredibly cool! We all had a blast exploring the theaters, learning about the rich history, and seeing everything from a whole new perspective. If you haven’t done it yet, we highly recommend it!
